Leaves Trail
A circular walk (with a slight detour) - with oak based sculptures hewn out of Yorkshire Stone, once part of Old Masham Station railway platform.

Shrine
There is a story that should you should see a Roman ghost here, they would only be visible from the knees up because the roads were at a much lower level than today. Superstition maybe, but the artist was hoping for objects to 'turn up' placed by people passing, whoever they might be.
Still on the path head towards the wood where the River Burn joins the Ure in 'Van Dieman's Plantation'. Bear left down the steps into the wood and follow the Burn upstream through trees to Low Burn Bridge on the Grewelthorpe to Masham Road. Cross over the bridge and continue upstream on the opposite bank. Take care crossing the first stile, it is very close to the edge of the riverbank. Walk along the fence and take care again to cross the second stile as there is a slight drop at the other side downhill to the third stile. At the steam ahead, take care to cross the stepping stones then another slight drop. Upon reaching the Golf Course, continue along the riverbank until you arrive at Leaf 4 (the Shrine).
