Leaves Trail
A circular walk (with a slight detour) - with oak based sculptures hewn out of Yorkshire Stone, once part of Old Masham Station railway platform.

Standing Tree
The barley seeds recall Masham’s important brewing heritage. The reverse of the Leaf is incised with a linear pattern of a bell ringing score and is reminiscent of tree roots and branches.
Turn back to the main market place and head left making for St Marys Church in the nearest corner. Pass the war memorial in the churchyard and find a Norman Doorway and continue on the path in front of the South Door. You will pass the base of a Saxon Cross then, on the North side of the Church, you'll find the grave of Julius Caesar Ibbetson, a 18th century local artist. Go through the kissing gate at the rear of the graveyard, turn left and continue to Leaf 2 The Standing Tree in this field where sheep racing takes place at the annual Sheep Fair.
