Leaves Trail
A circular walk (with a slight detour) - with oak based sculptures hewn out of Yorkshire Stone, once part of Old Masham Station railway platform.

The Acorn
This school building, now the local primary school, used to be the Grammar School founded by Sir William Danby in 1760. The Acorn reflects the seed from which all mighty oaks grow, and they would once grown in abundance, forming vast parts of Masham Forest, a heavily wooded area under medieval Forest Law and subsequently developed through hunting, agriculture and mining of what became Swinton Estate.
Leaving Masham Community Office passing the Town Hall on your left. Follow the road round to the left until you reach Masham Primary School at the top of Millgate. Here you will find Leaf 1 - The Acorn - the first of Masham Leaves near to the school door.
