Druids Temple at Swinton Bivouac

Druids Temple at Swinton Bivouac

Unique woodland folly - intriguing standing stones, scenic trails, bird hides, and stunning moorland views.

Druids Temple is nestled in the woods at Swinton Bivouac, just a couple of miles from Masham. It is one of Yorkshire’s most interesting follies.

This unique collection of standing stones to intrigue and explore is just a short walk from the Swinton Bivouac Café. Built in the late 1700s, it is a fabulous place to visit, with walking and bike trails giving way to more groups of standing stones, bird hides and spectacular views of the surrounding moorland countryside. The Lucy Pittaway Sycamore Gap Trail is the latest addition.
